Take the A58 (T) to Halifax. You will pass straight through 4 sets of traffic lights at Wyke, Red Lion Inn, Hipperholme and Stump Cross - c 5 miles in total. After Stump Cross Inn, still on the A58, you will climb a hill known as Godley Lane. Keep in the right hand lane preparing to turn right immediately before the BP Petrol Station price sign. Follow the road down, passing behind the white (Rose) cottage to a paved area where there is ample room for parking
Take the A629 to Halifax. At the third set of traffic lights, c 4 miles, you will see the A58 (Leeds/Bradford) signposted off to the right. This is an inner ring road taking you down Shaw Hill, past Halifax Town F.C., Eureka Museum for Children and the Railway Station. Follow the A58 (Leeds/Bradford) sign climbing out of Halifax, at the top you go under an iron bridge and descend down Godley Lane. Prepare to take a left immediately after the BP Petrol Station price sign. Follow the road down, passing behind the white (Rose) cottage to a paved area where there is ample room for parking
